About Lauren

Genuine... that's what I want to be and what I want my business to be.  This word has so much meaning to me ever since a friend, and also a client said that's what her boyfriend thought of me.  Someone who knew me at a distance thought I was genuine.  It's the best compliment I've ever received.; while I may forget the time someone said they like my dress or my hair looked good that day, I will never forget my friend telling me that.  I walked away from this same friend's engagement session feeling so blessed and praising the Lord for the opportunity for his favor towards me, and for friendship.  I'm so thankful He gave me these passions and I want to use them for his glory.  I'm nothing without Jesus.  My prayer before heading out to a session is “Lord, let them see you in me.”

Where did this journey begin?  I picked up a little Kodak camera during my awkward middle school days and haven't put the camera down since (trust me, it's a much nicer camera now and I shoot Canon if you're wondering).  Not only do I want to be a light and make the name of Jesus known, but I want to serve you, my client well and give you memories that will never fade.  Memories that make you smile, memories that just happen to be in the form of photos.  I love creating experiences for my clients, from getting coffee at the cutest local coffee shops and chatting about wedding day dreams to adventuring with seniors who trust my out of the box ideas! I hope we get to work together and that you enjoyed hearing a little about me.
